1. Mac Ruby Woo lipstick
This is a beautiful red lipstick which, from what I’ve seen around the web, suits about everyone! It’s a bit drying so I’m always sure to scrub and moisturize my lips before using this one, but it doesn’t feather and stays in place nicely, although I do recommend using a lipbrush to apply it.

2. L’Oreal Nude Magique CC cream
Excuse me for the cliché term, but this is really my holy grail product. I hardly ever wear foundation anymore since buying this! The stuff is green but adapts its colour to your skin and neutralizes the redness. I only need a little dab of the stuff which is perfect for summer when I feel uncomfortable wearing too much layers of make up. BONUS: when I insist to make up my friends or sisters (which is not always voluntarily, I admit) I can use this on them too because it’s suitable for all sorts of skin colours!

3. Makeup Academy Heaven and Earth palette
I love this palette so much and have already hit the pan on many of the colours due to my abusing it daily. It has been compared to UD’s Naked palette a lot and although I can’t say anything about that, this palette definitely filled the nude-eyeshadow-hole in my heart. (OK that conjured up a pretty weird image.)

4. Max Factor 2000 Calorie dramatic volume
To be honest I don’t need mascara too much, I have pretty dark lashes naturally so I only use it to lengthen them and this one is the best one I have tried so far! Some of my friends swear by it as well and it has beaten my previous favourite, Maybelline’s cateye mascara.

5. Catrice Prime and Fine face primer
I don’t really love the idea of a primer since it’s just another layer on your face but sometimes I just need one, especially when I have a long day at uni or work. This one doesn’t feel to thick, doesn’t smell and glides on smoothly.

6. Essence I Love Stage eyeshadow base
I have quite watery eyes so a eyeshadow base is an absolute must for me. This one is not too pricey and it really does the trick. I discovered the absolute necessity of this when I forgot to use it before going to work and my shadow and liner definitely disappeared in the middle of the day! I use this one for my brows as well.

7. Makeup Academy Matte Perfect Loose Powder
This one is so perfect! It makes your face so pretty and matte. It also sets your foundation!

8. Etos Natural Eyebrow Kit
This one, in a combination with a brow pencil, is perfect to colour in my brows!

9. Makeup Academy Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in ‘Reckless’
Oh I have been so much in love with the idea of velvet lip lacquers that when MUA announced they had one in their luxe line I immediately snapped it up. Reckless is so gorgeous and suitable for many skin tones, I imagine. I also bought Atomic but I don’t think it really suits me. Oh, I do think it’s a bit difficult to apply neatly since it dries up so fast.

10.Makeup Academy Pro-Base fixing mist
I really do love me some Makeup Academy, don’t I? I can’t help it, they are cruelty free, not too pricey, and I have been so impressed with the quality of their products! This fixing mist is no different. Not only does it help your makeup to last longer (perfect for nights out – I spray a little bit on my closed eyes) it’s awfully refreshing as well!

So these are my favourite cosmetic products at the moment. All these up here are things I will definitely repurchase when I’m out. This is also why I haven’t included for example, a blush. This is because I haven’t found my definite favourite yet. The same goes for a good highlighter, so if you have any tips for those? In terms of eyeliner pens, brow pencils and clear mascara I don’t have a favourite because I think it hardly matters which brand you have but if you have one I MUST try out, give me a shout! I’m also very curious to what your favourite products are so if you have a post up or whatever, definitely leave me the link in the comments.

I do live in the nude CC cream, that and mascara is all the makeup I wear (plus lipbalm). It’s SO good!

It really is great! Doesn’t feel like you’re layering up at all 🙂
